BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (WCCO) — A bank robber, who has been called the “Man in Black,” has struck again.

The recent robbery happened around 4:20 Wednesday afternoon at a Premier Bank branch located at 500 98th Street West in Bloomington.

According to the FBI, the man entered the bank, approached the teller counter with a handgun and demanded cash. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber fled.

The robber is described as a white man between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-8. He was wearing a black ski mask and black jacket.

The FBI said they believe the robbery was committed by the “Man in Black,” a serial robber who has hit several banks in the Twin Cities over the past few weeks.

The FBI, along with the Minnesota Bankers Association, is offering a $25,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.

Anyone with information on the robbery and the “Man in Black” is asked to call the FBI at (612) 376-3200 or the Bloomington Police Department.
